Update on Joshua:

After a long hard battle with a terrible rare genetic disease, Joshua passed away on April 1st at 8:30 a.m. He passed away quickly and peacefully with Cindy and I both present.
Our family will not be the same without Joshua. He will be dearly missed! We do know, however, that he is with his Heavenly Father and will be engaging in missionary work on the other side of the veil. His former mission president told me today that Joshua hated having to leave his mission to come home for health reasons. He said that Joshua loved his mission and was solid missionary in teaching the gospel. It's difficult for all of us to envision the whole scope of the plan of salvation, but we know that this earthly life is but a short moment compared to eternity.
