Class of 2010 Honors Graduate!!! Way to go Rachel! We are so proud of your accomplishments! Good luck in all your future endeavors! We love you very much!
We are all very excited for Joseph's return home on December 29th, 2010! I hope everyone has enjoyed reading his letters even though I have been a slacker on keeping them updated every week. They are all updated now--just in time for him to come home! LOL! Rachel came home on Dec. 11th from college. We picked her up at the Spokane airport last Sat. It will be nice to have Rachel and Joseph home, but it will be hard not having Joshua here to join us. Hopefully, he will have a chance to join us in spirit.

Thanks so much for your thoughts and prayers in behalf of our family! It's going to be a tough road ahead with the passing of our son, Joshua. He has been the perfect child! I guess the Lord needed some of his perfection to do some work on the other side of the veil for Him. It's difficult to explain how hard it is to see him go, but we know without a doubt he is in a good place and that he is engaged in missionary work. His former mission president called me the other day and said that Joshua loved teaching people on his mission and that it was very difficult for him to leave his mission because of his health. He also mentioned that he felt Joshua was being prepared just enough as a missionary in this life so he could continue doing missionary work in the next life where he is needed even more. We love all of your for the strength and support you have given us during the last several months. It's going to be difficult knowing what to do with ourselves now since we have dedicated all of our time in caring for Joshua. It was kind of funny the other day when Cindy and I were out doing some running around. We could not even remember when the last time was that we rode in a car together since one of us has always stayed behind to care for our son. We have learned many things from this experience. We know the Lord has walked with us and ministered unto us! On many occasions, while Joshua was sleeping, we felt he was being instructed as to the things he needed to do to prepare himself to cross on the other side of the veil. Again, we love all of you and hope to see you again soon!
Love, Steve and Cindy
